Launching Our Children’s Futures
A Campaign for the TAF Community Learning Space (CLS)

TAF knows that with the right learning environment and a supportive community, every child can succeed. We have reached a physical barrier with our current leased office space, limiting our ability to expand our programs. We do not have the facilities needed to hire and house the staff who will fulfill our vision as outlined in our strategic business plan.

• In our current leased spaces, our capacity to reach underserved youth will only grow to 825 students per year by 2012 – two TAF Academies and a TechStart program serving 320 students
  
  
• The CLS will accommodate the staff necessary to deliver an expanded TechStart program and establish a total of five TAF Academies in Washington State communities of color by 2015, when we hope to reach nearly 7,000 students of color every year
  
  
• The CLS will establish the educational hub that we need to fulfill the vision of our Degrees Matter initiative: By 2020, TAF will change the trajectory of 20,000 public school students of color every year, enabling them to graduate on-time and college-ready to pursue successful careers in STEM fields
