[GALLERY] STEM Expo: Over 1,000 students and families attended the annual STEM Expo
On Saturday, TAF@Saghalie hosted its annual STEM Expo sponsored by Google, a school-wide event that showcased over 300 individual and group projects related to solving community issues and needs through STEM. Projects were developed over the course of four months and involved plenty of research, ideation, and project iterations for students to arrive at their final presentations. According to registration, there were over one thousand students and families in the building!
In addition to record-breaking school community turn-out, we would like to extend a huge thanks to the industry professionals who dedicated their day as STEM Expo judges, many of which had participated in project development on Industry Day and Project Proposal Day earlier this year. Judges were tasked with reviewing student projects and helping us determine category winners through careful deliberation (and many cups of coffee).
