Armies of lego robots with no one to sort them!

 In #TAFLab, #TeamTAF

Want to help TAF prepare students for engineering and programming excellence? Need to stretch your legs for an hour or so? Love Legos? Or none of the above? Please come help TAF with our annual Lego Mindstorms Robotics kits inventory!

We have 90 kits with 431 pieces each, and every one needs to be checked before it’s used again this fall in TechStart! This year, we are hosting Lego Wednesdays: Each Wednesday from July 6 through August 24, we invite volunteers to drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm to sort a robotics kit-or two, or three, or just half of one! Every little bit helps! We will provide snacks, and our everlasting gratitude for helping us with this huge task. Any TAF staff member can guide you to the inventory room, where clear instructions will be posted. Sarah Wilkes will be leading the project; email her at sarahw@techaccess.org if you have any questions. Can’t make it to TAF on a Wednesday, but want to participate? Email Lynda Joko or Sarah to make another appointment.

Our offices are open Mondays thru Thursdays, 9am-6pm.
