Boze Means Business!

Boze Means Business

Boze Elementary 5th grade students took a private tour at Costco to learn about how their business began, how it runs successfully on a daily basis, and the math behind business. This tour was in coordination to the student’s current entrepreneurship project units where they’ll be using these skills to understand business thinking and structure.
The managers of Costco were very impressed with the level of professionalism and quality of questions asked by the fifth graders. The last series of pictures below are from a donation our first grade students were given through the Washington Native Plant Society. The grant purchased nine gorilla carts in order for first grade students to grow their own bee/butterfly gardens in their courtyard while completing their interdependence of the plants and animals project unit.
