[GALLERY] Exhibition at Boze Brings Improved Family Engagement

 In School Transformation, Uncategorized

Every year, Boze Elementary K-5th-grade students spend the year tackling a driving question to build and present projects. In January, the school community gathered at the Boze Winter Exhibition to discover the creative approaches these young students took to solve challenges in their community and the world at large.

TAF began its partnership with Boze in 2015. During the past five years, student and family engagement has skyrocketed. Like past exhibitions, parents came to support their student learners while presenting their projects. Each project evolved from the root of a driving question, which is an essential component of project-based learning. For this winter quarter, students addressed the following questions: How can we reduce our carbon footprint? How does climate affect our lives? and what does our community need to thrive?
