Martinez Fellowship Program Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the Martinez Fellowship Program! We’re glad you’re here! Our mission is to change education by supporting BIPOC educators in their personal and professional development in order to dismantle systems of oppression. We look forward to learning more about you!

We partner with 13 select colleges and universities across Washington state. By working in tandem with our partners, Fellows receive continuity of support — from their teacher preparation program and the Martinez Fellowship.

Membership to the fellowship is granted through an application, interview, and selection process. New cohorts are inducted on an annual basis and are expected to attend New Fellow Orientation in June.

The application will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. You will need a current resume or CV for your application. If you need to come back to your application, please make sure to click “Save and Continue.” You will then be prompted to enter your email address to receive an email in order to pick up where you left off.

Please refer to our application timeline below to see when to complete your application.
