TAF Academy Replicates Best Practices
This year TAF Academy is doing what many other nontraditional schools set out to do, but don’t accomplish: replicating best practices.
This year TAF Academy has shared our best practices with educators in two ways:
1) We opened our STEM Institute to train public school teachers in interdisiplinary project based learning and creating a culture of achievement. The first cohort was 19 teachers and 3 district administrators.
2) We are helping Mount View Elementary School become a STEM school using the TAF Academy pedagogy.
Take a minute to read this case study by the Carnegie Foundation about one of the practices that we’re sharing: Teacher Scientist Partnerships
