TAF Volunteers

I’ve met a lot of amazing people in my role as volunteer coordinator, and each year I’m surprised by the diversity of the folks who give back.

So who volunteers at TAF? We have TechStart and TTIP alumni who understand the value of TAF’s programs and want to give back. We have high school and college students, parents/guardians of our current and past students, friends, professionals, and retirees who volunteer as classroom assistants for TechStart or to help with special projects, events, research and more. Some spend time at TAF Academy, asking students critical questions about their projects or talking with students about their career paths. We have groups of employees from STEM companies who take turns volunteering.

This year, we even have a middle school student who graduated from TechStart and loved it so much that he is now working as a TechStart classroom assistant!

It continues to be an honor and a privilege to work with such a diverse, dedicated group. Thanks to all of you!
