Interning at TAF

 In Uncategorized

Hello, my name is Aaron Gupta and I am interning this summer with the Research and Development team. I am currently a sophomore at University of Washington pursuing a degree in Computer Science.

Some of my hobbies include playing tennis, drawing, and programming! I started to play tennis in 10th grade initially just for the PE credit, but I ended up loving the sport so much that I continued to play it up until now.

In order to expand my knowledge about computer languages and software, I am currently exploring and designing an Android App to publish in the Android Market. Think of this as my projected summer project. Let’s hope I finish :).

Interning at TAF has helped me realize that STEM careers are the way to go and everyone should have the opportunity to go into them. During my childhood, I also was nudged towards the STEM careers and since how I fell in love with math and science, it was a perfect fit. My work this summer will help TAF to reach out to new funding sources so that it can continue to grow and serve students around this area.
