Meet Freddy, Development Officer of Individual Giving

Freddy Abramson
Development Officer, Individual Giving

Freddy has a true passion in providing a voice to underserved communities. He is a 4th generation Seattleite, and joined TAF because of his desire to ensure all kids get the opportunity they need to fulfill their dreams and build a successful life in the community he was raised.

At TAF, Freddy works with community members to ensure they are informed on the ground breaking work that TAF is executing on. He makes sure they have the needed information to make an investment in the future of historically underserved youth. Freddy is part of a team that works everyday to secure the funding necessary to enable students of color and other marginalized communities with the resources to provide education equality through the power of STEM education and supportive relationships.

Freddy has over 12 years of experience building strong partnerships and lasting relationships in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining the TAF team, Freddy worked at a handful of nonprofits (Treehouse and Ventures) that focused on leveling a playing field for marginalized demographics. Before making a conscious decision to work with mission-driven non-profit organizations Freddy was in product development at a global logistics company, Expeditors International. He worked with global sales teams from around the world to build relationships with Fortune 100 multinational corporations.

Freddy has a BA and MA from the University of San Francisco and is a member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals.
